Book your stay in Madrid and learn to fly now!
Madrid Fly’s tunnel dimensions are bigger than average. The flight chamber is the largest in Europe as known to date, with 4.6 meters in diameter (15ft) and 18 meters high, of which up to 8 meters are glass walls. The big glass chamber is perfect for spectators, assuring high entertainment value and impressive visuals.
Absolutely nothing was left to chance and Eydisa has put a lot of time and money into research and development, building a mockup scaled 1:50 and later a prototype scaled 1:5 that reaches real life speeds of up to 300 km/h, making it the largest prototype ever made for this kind of business. For the construction of the actual tunnel, only the best materials and providers have been selected, guaranteeing an optimal air flow and customer experience.
With adjustable wind speeds between 180 and 300 km/h Madrid Fly can easily accommodate both beginners and experienced flyers who want to practise a variety of more advanced moves.
Although the concept of building a wind tunnel is not new, Eydisa Wind Tunnels is unique in its striving for perfection. By improving most existing tunnel designs and technologies and adding revolutionizing aspects like an original and patented cooling system, Madrid Fly becomes the world’s most modern and advanced wind tunnel project, with 100% Spanish technology, wind tunnel expertise and investment capital.
Madrid Fly counts 1.500 square meters of facilities including a shop, bar/restaurant area and conference room, 635 square meters of chill-out terrace and 1.100 square meters of parking space and outside area to make you feel comfortable and at home.
