Canada CANADIAN INDOOR SKYDIVING CHAMPIONSHIP 2020


EVENT DESCRIPTION

The Canadian Indoor Skydiving Championship (CISC) returns to SkyVenture Montréal next spring. This will be the 7th CISC since SkyVenture opened its doors and introduced bodyflight to Canadians in 2009.

Flyers of all ages and skill levels will have the opportunity to compete in various disciplines. This event is for rookies, intermediate flyers and advanced flyers alike. Competing at this event is fun and friendly, and brings the community together!

CISC will also be the qualification event for the 2021 World Indoor Skydiving Championships in Slovakia.

DISCIPLINES

  • 4-Way FS – 10 rounds (A Rookie – AA Intermediate – AAA Open)
  • 4-Way VFS – 10 rounds  (Open)
  • 2-Way VFS – 6 rounds (Rookie – Intermediate – Open)
  • Dynamic 2-Way – Speed & free rounds (Open)
  • Freestyle – 7 rounds (F – C – F – F – C – F – F) – (Intermediate – Open)

IMPORTANT DATES

  • Registration Opens: Monday, January 13th, 2020
  • T-Shirt Registration Deadline: Monday, March 2nd, 2020
  • Registration & Payment Deadline (/Registration Fees Increase): Friday March 13th, 2020
  • Music & Drama Sheets received (Freestyle & D2W): Thursday, March 19th, 2020

COMPETITION FEES

(Prices per team member, taxes included)
Payment deadline: March 13, 2020 (Entry fees will be increased by 25% if registrations/payments are made after this date.)

BEFORE March 13th, 2020:

  • First Discipline: $120 per team member
  • Each Additional Discipline: $100 per team member

AFTER March 13th, 2020:

  • First Discipline: $150 per team member
  • Each Additional Discipline: $125 per team member

Note that even if there are adjustment to the rules, in 2020, we will follow the 2019 rules.

2021 FAI WORLD INDOOR SKYDIVING CHAMPIONSHIPS

Please note that to qualify for WISC in Slovakia, a junior competitor must be over the age of 12 at the time of the competition or celebrate his/her 13th birthday during the calendar year in which the relevant competition takes place. The minimum age to participate in an Open Category is 15, in any international indoor skydiving 1st category event.

Only the following disciplines can qualify for the World Championship:

  • 4-Way FS Open and Junior
  • 4-Way VFS
  • Dynamic 2-Way
  • Dynamic 4-Way
  • Freestyle Open
  • Freestyle Junior
