Tucked into the industrial outskirts south of Lyon, Skyplanet has been one of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region's most accessible flight experiences since opening its doors in 2019. The tunnel draws a loyal local following alongside visitors making the short trip from the city, offering a focused, personal atmosphere that larger facilities rarely match.

Inside the 2.5-metre chamber, the airflow wraps around you with an intimacy that suits first-timers and solo flyers beautifully. You'll feel every adjustment to your body position almost immediately — arms, hips, chin — making it a superb environment for building real technique and confidence with every session. The tunnel's instructors are known for their patient, hands-on coaching style.
