Tucked into the Lyon metropolitan area, iFLY Lyon has been delivering the sensation of freefall since 2016, making it one of the more established wind tunnels in France. Its 4.3-metre recirculating chamber sits within a purpose-built facility designed to welcome everyone from curious first-timers to seasoned freeflyers chasing progression.
Step into the tunnel and the 14-foot chamber immediately rewards you with genuine freedom of movement — enough space to hold a stable belly position, experiment with tracking, or push into vertical disciplines without feeling hemmed in. The smooth, consistent airflow means coaches can communicate clearly and flyers can focus entirely on body awareness rather than fighting turbulence.
