Nestled in the highlands of Rio Grande do Sul, Gramado is one of Brazil's most beloved and distinctive destinations — a charming city that feels remarkably European in character, with alpine architecture, lush hydrangea-lined streets, and a cool mountain climate that sets it apart from the tropical image most associate with Brazil. A wind tunnel facility called iFLY Gramado has been noted in the area, adding to the city's growing profile as a leisure destination.

Gramado and the surrounding Serra Gaúcha region offer visitors an exceptional range of experiences right now. Explore the boutique chocolate shops and artisan breweries that have earned the region a devoted following, walk the scenic trails of Parque do Caracol, or visit the dramatic Caracol Falls — a 131-metre waterfall set within stunning Atlantic Forest. Wine lovers can venture into the nearby Vale dos Vinhedos, one of South America's finest wine-producing valleys, for tastings and vineyard tours.
