Branson, Missouri, is one of the American Midwest's most visited entertainment destinations — a compact city that punches well above its weight with live music theatres, theme parks, water attractions, and the shimmering expanse of Table Rock Lake on its doorstep. Fritz's AERODIUM, a wind tunnel facility that once operated here, has since permanently closed its doors.
The city and surrounding Ozark hills reward visitors with a genuine variety of experiences. Beyond the famous Strip's shows and attractions, outdoor enthusiasts will find excellent fishing, kayaking, and hiking throughout the lake district. Silver Dollar City, one of the country's most celebrated theme parks, sits just minutes away, while the wider United States Midwest offers road-trip itineraries in every direction for those with time to explore.
