Suspended somewhere between the Atlantic and the horizon, RipCord by iFly on Anthem of the Seas delivers a wind tunnel experience unlike any other on the planet — quite literally at sea. This Royal Caribbean flagship attraction has been thrilling guests since 2015, turning open ocean crossings into airborne adventures on the ship's upper deck.
The sensation here is extraordinary precisely because of its setting. As the ship cuts through open water, guests step into the vertical wind column and feel genuine freefall simulation — weightless, exhilarating, and surreal. Knowing you're soaring above the deck of a moving vessel somewhere at sea adds an edge that no land-based tunnel can replicate.
Indoor Skydiving in Ship Deck, Cruise Ship
Anthem of the Seas sails itineraries from ports including Southampton and Bayonne (New Jersey), visiting destinations across the Caribbean, Bermuda, and Europe. That means this wind tunnel on a Cruise Ship is genuinely mobile — the experience comes to you, wherever the voyage leads. No two sessions share quite the same backdrop.
