Tucked into the heart of Michigan's thriving Oakland County, this wind tunnel brings world-class vertical flight to metro Detroit's doorstep. Opened in 2021, iFLY Detroit operates a generous 14-foot (4.3 m) recirculating chamber — wide enough to comfortably host first-timers and seasoned flyers alike, making every session genuinely accessible.
Step into the tunnel and the 14-foot chamber instantly rewards you with room to move. Airspeed is dialled to your skill level, so beginners feel a stable, confidence-building lift while experienced flyers carve turns and explore dynamic freefall positions — all without the altitude, equipment, or weather concerns of an outdoor jump.
