Tucked into the heart of the East Bay, iFLY San Francisco Bay has been sending flyers skyward since 2007, making it one of California's most established wind tunnel experiences. Its 12-foot chamber delivers smooth, consistent airflow that suits everyone from wide-eyed first-timers to seasoned freefall athletes chasing their next skill milestone.

Step inside the 12-foot (3.7 m) chamber and the 120 mph wind column lifts you instantly off the mesh floor — that familiar stomach-drop replaced by pure, sustained lift. The generous diameter gives beginners room to breathe and intermediates space to carve turns, while coaches circling close keep every second of flight purposeful and safe.

Indoor Skydiving in Union City, United States

Union City sits at the southern edge of the Bay, conveniently placed between San Jose and Oakland with easy access from Interstate 880. The wider United States indoor skydiving scene is vast, but few tunnels combine this level of Bay Area accessibility with nearly two decades of operating heritage. Shops, dining, and the broader East Bay are all close by.
