Munich is one of Europe's most captivating cities — a place where Baroque grandeur meets bold modernity, where world-class museums sit alongside packed beer halls, and where the rhythm of Bavarian life gives the whole city an unmistakable warmth and energy. A wind tunnel facility called WINDOBONA Munich was once planned for the city, though that project has since been cancelled.

Bavaria's capital rewards visitors at every turn. The English Garden rivals Hyde Park in scale and surpasses it in eccentricity — surfers ride the Eisbach wave year-round. The Alps are barely an hour away, offering hiking, climbing, skiing, and paragliding across some of Germany's most dramatic landscapes. Back in the city, Olympiapark, the Deutsches Museum, and the Marienplatz keep explorers thoroughly occupied.
