Doha is one of the most dramatically transformed cities on earth — a skyline of sculptural towers rising from the Arabian Gulf, where ancient souqs and cutting-edge museums sit side by side. It's a city of extraordinary contrasts and ambition, drawing visitors from across the globe. Somewhere within its infrastructure exists the Qatar Military Wind Tunnel, a facility operated exclusively for defence purposes and closed to the public.

For adventure-seekers and curious travellers, Doha delivers on multiple fronts. The desert fringes offer dune bashing, quad biking, and camel trekking, while the turquoise waters of the Gulf invite kayaking, kitesurfing, and deep-sea diving. Culturally, the Museum of Islamic Art and the buzzing Souq Waqif provide endlessly rich experiences, and the Corniche promenade ties it all together beautifully.
