Just south of Tel Aviv, a 4.3-metre recirculating wind tunnel has been turning curious first-timers and seasoned flyers into dedicated devotees since 2016. FlyBox brought the thrill of freefall to Israel's coastal plain, giving the greater Tel Aviv district its own purpose-built arena for human flight — no aircraft required.

Step into the glass-walled chamber and the 14-foot column of smooth, controlled airflow lifts you clean off the mesh floor within seconds. That generous diameter means instructors have real room to guide beginners through their first stable body position, while intermediate and advanced flyers can open up dynamic moves without crowding the walls. The result is a sensation that genuinely mirrors terminal-velocity freefall.

Indoor Skydiving in Rishon LeZion, Israel

Rishon LeZion is Israel's fourth-largest city, sitting roughly ten kilometres south of central Tel Aviv with fast road and rail links making it an easy half-day trip from most of the country. The surrounding district blends urban energy with Mediterranean coast, so a FlyBox session slots naturally alongside beach visits or city breaks.
