EVENT DESCRIPTION

First Swiss Indoor Skydiving Championship

RealFly Sion will host the elite of the country in November 2016.

RealFly Sion as the first Indoor Skydiving Wind Tunnel will host the Swiss Indoor Skydiving Championship

Several disciplines will compete, from classical Formation Skydiving to Dynamic Flying that attracts more and more athletes.

The Swiss elite athletes are expected at this event, with the presence of Andri Steinmann, Tobe Oertle and Olivier Longchamp who all participated in the last World Championships in Prague. The organizers expect the participation of national and international teams, female and open, from all skydiving center of Swiss. A strong proponent of this new sport, Géraldine Fasnacht, expresses the philosophy of this first edition in a few words: “Whether you have 5 years or 99 years, Indoor Skydiving is a new simple and amazing sport that impresses with its complexity served with a ease“.

The event will be attended by several international champions. Geraldine will participate in this event and will present the award ceremony on Saturday evening.

Organized under the auspices of Swiss Skydiving Federation and supported by several public and private partners, this Championship position Switzerland
at the highest international level and are expected by the whole community of european flyers.

Aside the competition, demonstration sessions and many activities will be brought to the public during thie Championship weekend.

Indoor Skydiving is a sport for all ages and there are annually thousands of first flights RealFly Sion.
