Goiânia, the vibrant capital of Goiás state in Brazil's vast Central-West region, is a city that surprises visitors with its modernist urban planning, thriving food scene, and an infectious energy rooted in sertanejo music and cowboy culture. A wind tunnel facility called SkyVenture Goiania operates in the city, though it functions as a privately operated installation and is not accessible to the public.

For adventure-seekers and curious travellers, Goiânia and its surrounding region deliver in abundance. The Chapada dos Veadeiros National Park — a UNESCO World Heritage Site — lies within striking distance, offering dramatic waterfalls, crystal-clear rivers, and some of Brazil's most rewarding hiking trails. Closer to the city, the Flamboyant Park and the lively Setor Bueno neighbourhood provide a taste of local life at its most animated.
