Rumlang is a quiet, well-kept municipality nestled in the Canton of Zurich, sitting just north of Switzerland's largest city and close to Zurich Airport. It carries the understated charm typical of Swiss villages — clean streets, green surroundings, and a strong sense of community — while benefiting from exceptional connectivity to the wider region. The wind tunnel facility known as BodyFlying once operated here, though it has since permanently closed.

The greater Zurich region surrounding Rumlang is exceptionally well-served for adventure and leisure. Lake Zurich offers sailing, paddleboarding, and open-water swimming, while the nearby Jura foothills provide excellent hiking and cycling terrain. Zurich itself pulses with world-class museums, vibrant street food markets, and a thriving arts scene, making it an outstanding base for both urban explorers and outdoor enthusiasts alike.
