Nestled in one of Chicago's most vibrant neighbourhoods, this wind tunnel brings the thrill of freefall to the heart of Lincoln Park. Opened in 2016, iFLY Chicago Lincoln Park has built a loyal following among Windy City residents and visitors alike — a fitting name for a city that takes its breezy reputation seriously.

Step into the 12-foot chamber and the world outside disappears. That diameter is the sweet spot for indoor skydiving — generous enough for beginners to find their footing without feeling cramped, yet intimate enough for coaches to stay close and guide every movement. The airflow lifts you cleanly off the mesh, and within minutes the sensation of genuine freefall replaces any nerves with pure exhilaration.

Indoor Skydiving in Chicago, United States

Lincoln Park sits just north of downtown Chicago, easily reached by the Red Line L train or a short drive along Lake Shore Drive. The neighbourhood is packed with restaurants, the famous Lincoln Park Zoo, and lakefront paths — making a session here a natural centrepiece for a full day out in Chicago. The United States has no shortage of wind tunnels, but few enjoy this kind of urban setting.
