The first british wind tunnel for indoor skydiving, and one of the largest in the world for many years, was Bodyflight Bedford, opened in 2005 and lately rebranded as Twinwoods Adventure.
The location was a formerly military research base, with five wind tunnels designing and testing the latest aircraft developments. Bodyflight Bedford hosted yearly the famous World Challenge competition.
Lately Airkix, then rebranded as iFLY, contributed to the development of Indoor Skydiving in UK with new succesfull locations in Basingstoke, Manchester and Milton Keynes.
Now many new projects have been announced in the next few years making UK one of the top players on the Indoor Skydiving european scene.
Indoor Skydiving is becoming everyday more and more appreciated by british people of all ages.
